Some of the biggest upcoming phones of 2022 are likely to feature the next-gen chipset from Qualcomm, and we got lots of details about the new platform at the company's Tech Summit 2021 event.

Qualcomm has confirmed its next-gen chipset is called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The company is changing its name for its flagship platform, and you can read below exactly how the event played out.
